I think regarding the spare chip you could use that rule; personally i don't 5 chips is worth an awful lot as may as well go into the next pot.. small issue probably.

Regarding the second one, your rule does seem to be in place at most online poker games and at gutshot. I think it's one worth adopting.. i missed a big blind when Ed went out (obviously i wasn't complaining!)

Another thing which happened (and i think in one of your hands) when Ed dealt a card before you'd made your decision, it may as well be dicretionary if the hand carries on or is re-dealt if a player isn't happy.
