if we play on sunday in future, should we start dealing at 7.30? it;s getting a bit tight at the end with 8 plus players. also i thought the 15 mins blinds worked well in the bar given the time issue - although i like 20 mins at home games

If possible I think we should start earlier. We didn't start on time this week because people weren't ready. If people were not rehearsing in the day and were available I'd be in favour of a 7.00 start and keeping the blinds at 20 mins.

7.30 is OK for me but can only do earlier if I'm not working as I don't finish till 6.30 in Wapping. That's going to be every 2 or 3 Sundays minimum ...

Every 15mins with 9 players meant that, esp at the start, the blinds had gone up (sometimes twice) by the time they came round to you again - possibly perfectly fair as it's happening to everyone!

Earlier start is preferable, with blinds being posted for late players..?

For what it's worth, my preference is for 7:30 start and blinds up every 15 mins.

Mine also, for the record (although I won't be able to make it that often....)

Yep, the earlier we start the earlier we finish, which makes sense to me considering work on Monday morning.
